As part of its collaboration with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, the National Museums of France, Trudon offers wax reproductions of various colors of some of its jewels.

Why was she born a slave? is the name given by the sculptor and painter Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux (1827-1875) to a series of busts that he made around 1870 to decorate the fountain of the Paris Observatory. Obsessed with the faithful representation of human movement, he sculpted the slave with the bust in an oblique turn that expresses rebellion.
